asked the Minister of Transport whether, in view of objections by the Lambeth Borough Council and local residents, he will reconsider his proposal for east-to-west one-way traffic in Porden Road.

Mr. Marples

The proposals for Porden Road are part of a larger scheme for relieving congestion at the major road intersection by Lambeth Town Hall. I am considering whether the scheme can be modified so as not to affect Porden Road.
