§ 60. Mr. Swinglerasked the Minister of Transport what progress has been made in the preparation of the A.34 road improvement scheme from London Road to the Milehouse roundabout, Newcastle-under-Lyme; when it will be commenced; and how long it will take to complete.
§ Mr. MarplesWork on the northern section of this scheme is expected to begin this summer. Preparation of the central and southern sections is proceeding satisfactorily and work will be put in hand as these preliminary steps are completed. I hope that the full improvement will be completed by 1965.
