Member for Solihull; and what action he proposes to take to keep down the rising costs of cremation death certificates.
§ Mr. RentonYes. My right hon. Friend is awaiting the outcome of the review of the Cremation Regulations now in progress before considering whether he should exercise his power to prescribe fees for the issue of cremation medical certificates. He will take account of the Federation's views in reaching his decision.
