§ Mr. MaclayNo official figures are available of the financial loss incurred each year as a result of fire damage in Scotland. The number of fires in each fire area is, however, shown in the annual report of H.M. Inspector of Fire Services for Scotland published by H.M. Stationery Office.
The numbers of firemen killed or injured at fires in Scotland are given in the annual statistical analysis of reports on fires attended by fire brigades in the United Kingdom. The statistical analyses are prepared by the Joint Fire Research Organisation and copies are in the Library of the House.
