HC Deb 16 March 1961 vol 636 cc140-1W
62. Mr. Brewis

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what request for Customs facilities at Cairnryan military port, Wigtownshire, has been received by Her Majesty's Commissioners of Customs and Excise since October, 1959, for the use of the port for the transit of goods; and what has been their reply thereto.

Mr. Barber

One inquiry has been received: but no special Customs approval is necessary for goods in transit in the coastwise trade.
