§ 22. Mr. W. Hamiltonasked the Minister of Defence what plans are being made to make the ground-to-air Thunderbird missile available to the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation; what its production has cost to date; and what was the original estimate.
§ Mr. WatkinsonThunderbird missiles have been on offer to our N.A.T.O. allies for the past three years, for procurement either from Britain or from local manufacture: so far those other N.A.T.O. countries with a requirement for a weapon in this class have adopted the American Hawk missile.
It would not be in the public interest to give the cost of production of Thunderbird.
