§ 95. Mr. Pavittasked the Attorney-General if he is aware that, as a result of the Rent Act, 1957, there will be 500 or 600 applications for suspension of rent agreements before the Willesden County Court; and what action he proposes to take to relieve the pressure on this court.
§ The Attorney-General:I assume the hon. Member has in mind applications under the Landlord and Tenant (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1958, for suspension of orders of eviction. There are no grounds for thinking that there will be a large number of such applications, and no action is. therefore, required.
