asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he intends to introduce safety regulations under the Consumer Protection Act for oil heaters and domestic electrical equipment.

Mr. Renton

My right hon. Friend hopes to be able to make Regulations dealing with oil heaters early in the New Year. He has at present no plans for making Regulations regarding domestic electrical equipment.
