§ Mr. RentonI am informed by the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis that he has issued firearm certificates to 33 persons permitting them to carry firearms belonging to their employers when escorting consignments of bullion or bank notes. Certificates have been issued to responsible persons in 4 firms enabling them to hold firearms and ammunition for these purposes.
