Mr. W. Hamilton

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what has been the percentage increase in agricultural output over the last 10 years.

Between 1950–51 and 1960–61 the volume of agricultural net output in Scotland increased by 20 per cent. The increase in the value of gross agricultural output in the same period was 42 per cent.
