HC Deb 26 February 1960 vol 618 c95W
Dr. A. Thompson

asked the Minister of Transport whether he has yet studied the laboratory tests described in the Drew Report; and if, when preparing legislation on the subject, he will bear in mind the possibility that these tests underrate the risks in real road conditions, in view of the fact that faults made on an empty dummy road devoid of risks would be multiplied on a real road with other traffic and the additional complication of dazzling lights.
