§ Mr. MarplesTests of various types of motor-cycles were carried out some two years ago, and maximum noise levels for different types of machine were recommended to all manufacturers. A new series of tests, using methods and conditions of measurement provisionally agreed internationally, is starting this week. Manufacturers continue to co-operate with my Department.
