§ 45. Mr. Parkerasked the Minister of Transport when work is to be started on the widening of Rainham Road, South, between Dagenham East Station and Oxlow Lane.
§ Mr. HayMy right hon. Friend will be glad to include this scheme in the46W grant programme as soon as possible. He cannot, however, say at the moment when that will be.
§ 46. Mr. Parkerasked the Minister of Transport what action has been taken to widen Whalebone Lane North, Dagenham.
§ Mr. HayWe have made a grant of £67,229 to the Dagenham Borough Council towards the cost of widening and reconstructing this road. The council informs me that the contractor expects to start work within a few days and to complete the scheme within six months.
