§ 63. Dame Irene Wardasked the Minister of Transport whether he will introduce a Bill for providing a tunnel across the Tyne this Session.
§ Mr. HayI understand that the Northumberland and Durham County Councils intend to promote a new Bill in this Session. If this receives the approval of Parliament, the councils hope to start work on the tunnel late next year.
