§ Sir A. Bossomasked the Paymaster-General if he will state in the OFFICIAL REPORT the present situation with regard to the proposed nuclear power station at Dungeness.
§ Mr. MaudlingMy noble Friend has decided to give his consent to this station and to certain parts of the routes proposed for the associated transmission lines. A decision on other parts of the transmission lines is deferred pending the examination of a possible alternative route. Copies of a letter setting out the Minister's decision and his reasons have been placed in the Library together with copies of the reports of the public inquiries held in connection with the station and the transmission lines.
