§ Sir I. HorobinIn the first five months of 1959, 2.1 million tons of fuel oil were imported but during the same period 2.7 million tons were exported or used to bunker ocean-going ships. The average value of fuel oil imports was £6.9 a ton; that of crude oil imported during the same period was £8.2 a ton.
