Friend the Joint Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation announced last week, the number of people who died as a result of motor accidents in 1957 was 5,550, and in 1958, 5,970. This includes all persons who died within 30 days of the accident. As regards the second and third parts of the hon. Member's Question, I regret that the information he seeks is not available.
