HC Deb 04 February 1959 vol 599 c68W
104 and 105. Mr. Biggs-Davison

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs (1) what information has been officially received from the United Nations concerning the extent to which hostility and subversion among the Arab States have ceased since they gave their support to the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly of 21st August, 1958, providing, inter alia, for strict non-interference in each other's internal affairs;

(2) what information has been officially received from the United Nations concerning the extent to which propaganda from Cairo Radio and the United Arab Republic generally against other Arab States has ceased since the passing, with their support, of the United Nations General Assembly Resolution of 21st August, 1958.

Mr. R. Allan

There has been no official United Nations report on this subject since the Secretary-General's report of 29th September last, copies of which are in the Library of the House. There has, however, been some improvement in the situation.
