§ Mr. MarplesThe Committee met this week and agreed on its report on the 40 m.p.h. speed-limit experiment in the London Traffic Area. I expect to receive it shortly, and when I have considered it in conjunction with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland I will make a further statement and lay the report before the House as required by the Road Traffic Act, 1956.
