§ 95. Colonel Beamishasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs whether he is aware that as a result of a recent decision by the Lands Tribunal affecting one of Dr. Barnado's Homes, children's homes all over the country may now be rated as boarding houses instead of as private dwelling houses, and that if this is done the extra cost would be con siderable involving Dr. Barnado's Homes, for example, in rate increases of about£10,000 a year; and if he will 135W propose this Session a suitable amendment to the Valuation for Rating Act, 1953, in order to avoid this undesirable possibility.
