§ 66. Mr. Callaghanasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he is aware that a copy of Land of Sunshine, a book by Mr. Muga Gicaru dealing with the events leading up to Mau Mau, was confiscated by the police in Kenya; and for what reason it has been banned by the Kenya Government.
§ Mr. J. AmeryThe importation of this publication has been prohibited in the public interest by the Government of Kenya, on whom rests the responsibility of deciding whether such action is required in the public interest.
