63. Mr. Woodburn

asked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that recent by-election arrangements have disclosed deficiencies in the British Broadcasting Corporation's equipment in Scotland; and whether he is prepared to revise the agreement with the British Broadcasting Corporation to leave it with sufficient cash to have not less than equal broadcasting resources to those of independent networks.

The British Broadcasting Corporation informs me that it is not aware of any such equipment deficiencies.
