Member for Inverness has written to him; and what steps are being taken to overcome the legal difficulties involved.
§ Mr. Nixon BrowneYes. The North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board's Scheme is now formally before my right hon. Friend for confirmation. Thereafter it must lie before both Houses of Parliament for forty days and, if not objected to, will then become operative and the way will then be clear for work on the water scheme to begin.
