asked the Prime Minister if he will make a statement on the effects of radio-activity in the Cumberland area.

I have been asked to reply. I assume that the hon. Member has in mind the recent accident at Wind-scale. The effects of the accident on the surrounding area are fully set out in the White Paper laid on 8th November.
