§ Captain Kerbyasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation if he is in a position to assess the value of the G 141W Unit, tested recently by the British Transport Commission, Western Region, at Slough and elsewhere on Government-owned vehicles; how many Government-owned vehicles are attached to this region; arid what was the approximate saving in petrol, per vehicle, per week revealed by these tests.
§ Mr. WatkinsonAny tests carried out by the Commission have been on its own and not of Government-owned vehicles. The matter is therefore one of day-to-day administration and as such is purely for the Commission.
