§ 88. Mr. Sydney Irvingasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation if he will consider prescribing an appropriate traffic sign under Section 48 of the Road Traffic Act, 1930, for use on roads where local authorities have made orders designating such roads as roads on which it would be an offence to cause, or permit a dog to be, unless the dog is held on a lead.
§ Mr. WatkinsonI do not wish to limit the discretion of local authorities in a matter where uniformity of signs is not essential. I shall, however, very shortly be circulating some suggested designs for guidance.
