66. Mr. Lindgren

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government, in view of his expression of regret in refusing permission to the Dolphin Development and Management Company Limited to build a new town on land at Allhallows-on-Sea and of the fact that such refusal removes one of the possible means of helping towards the decentralisation of London industry and population, if he will consider sympathetically a modified proposal involving the use of a substantially less acreage of agricultural land.

Any such proposal would be for the Kent County Council as local planning authority to consider on its merits in the first instance.
