HC Deb 14 February 1957 vol 564 cc207-8W
68. Mr. Willey

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what action he is taking about the operation of the standard quantities for milk.

Mr. Amory

The Government intend to review in consultation with the farmers' unions the basis upon which any changes in the standard quantities should be made in future. They have therefore decided in consultation with the farmers' unions that in order to allow this question to be fully examined, there should be no significant change in the present figure for two years.
