§ 72. Mr. Dyeasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether it is still his intention to close the Wissington Light Railway in July next; and whether an adequate public highway will be provided in time to take the sugar beet to the Wissington sugar factory for next season's crop.
§ Mr. GodberYes. My right hon. Friend understands that road facilities are adequate to deal with the extra traffic to the sugar beet factory: and that the British Sugar Corporation propose to build an elevated roadway at their Wissington factory to enable them to receive additional beet by road before the next campaign begins.
