Lindsayasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that last year 18,411 Italian motor cycles were imported by the United Kingdom, whereas owing to the severity of Italian import restrictions only 119 British machines were imported by Italy; and what representations he is making to the Italian authorities in order to achieve greater parity.
§ Mr. Vaughan-MorganYes. We are continually pressing the Italian authorities to ease their restrictions on the import of British motor cycles; and shall continue to do so.
