§ Mr. MaclayI am using all means at my disposal to encourage employers and students to take advantage of day-release courses. I am glad to say that there is a steady increase in the numbers attending, and I am urging education authorities to expand facilities by pressing on with a building programme designed to produce, a substantial number of new local technical colleges by the early 1960s.
