§ 110. Mr. Haymanasked the Minister of Education in what circumstances his regulations provide for the suspension or cancellation by him of a teacher's teaching certificate.
§ Mr. Geoffrey LloydTeaching certificates are not now issued by the Ministry, but regulations enable me to debar teachers guilty of misconduct or grave professional default from service in maintained, assisted and direct grant schools and other grant-aided institution. They also provide in the case of maintained and certain other grant-aided schools that, after consultation with the authorities responsible for the school concerned, I may on educational or medical grounds require that the employment of a teacher be suspended or terminated or made subject to conditions.
