HC Deb 15 April 1957 vol 568 c166W
55. Mr. Grimond

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what instructions have now been given to British shipping about the use of the Suez Canal and the payment of dues.

Mr. Ian Harvey

Her Majesty's Government's advice to ship owners remains unchanged. I have nothing to add to the reply given to the hon. Member and to the hon. Member for Accrington (Mr. H. Hynd) on 8th April, but my right hon. and learned Friend hopes to be able to make a further statement shortly.
