§ 75. Mr. Emrys Hughesasked the Parmentary Secretary to the Admiralty, in view of the increased cost of living, what proposals he has considered for increasing the pensions and gratuities of naval officers.
Mr. WardNew standard rates of pensions and terminal grants for naval officers were announced in Command Paper 9692. They became effective on 1st April, 1956, and I have received no proposals that they should be increased.
