§ 84. Mr. Bennasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies in which territories there are ordinances providing for deportation without judicial process; and how many persons have been deported under these ordinances from each of these territories in each of the last five years for which figures are available.
§ Mr. HareAll territories retain the right to deport aliens at their discretion. As regards British subjects and protected persons, there are fifteen territories whose legislation does not provide for prior judicial process, but six of these have agreed to make such provision.
The figures requested in the second part of the Question are not on record, but I will communicate with the hon. Member after consulting the local Governments concerned.
