Lucasasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he has considered the recommendation of the Advisory Committee on Myxomatosis that, in the event of the present virus becoming less virulent, it might be more humane to introduce in selected, areas a more virulent strain of the disease to exterminate rabbits altogether; and whether he will give an assurance that he will refrain from taking action in the light of that recommendation.
