Medlicottasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he is aware that the rural district council of St. Faiths and Aylsham, Norfolk, and other rural district councils similarly placed, continued to incur additional expense in the inspection of slaughterhouses, although a large proportion of 222W the meat is for consumption in London and other cities and towns; and if he will now take steps to ensure an early alleviation of this burden which now inappropriately rests on the district councils concerned.
