§ Mr. Lennox-BoydYiallouris was shot and killed by the security forces during rioting in Famagusta on the 7th February. Police investigations have been made and the circumstances of the shooting are the subject of a coroner's inquest which began in open court in Famagusta yesterday under the ordinary laws of the Colony. It would not be appropriate for me to make a statement before the inquest has been completed.
