HC Deb 05 December 1956 vol 561 c120W
Mr. Gresham Cooke

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what provision is being made by supplementary issues of fuel for vehicles of over 11 tons unladen weight, and particularly those which fall into the category of special purpose vehicles.

Mr. Watkinson

A reference to traffics which require the use of specially constructed vehicles is included in the criteria which I have issued to Regional Transport Commissioners to guide them in considering applications for supplementary rations for goods vehicles. These criteria are fully set out in the answer I gave to the hon. Member for Shoreditch and Finsbury (Mr. Collins) today.
