92. Mr. P. Noel-Baker

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will give an assurance that Her Majesty's Government still adhere to Article 1 of the North Atlantic Treaty, which provides that the parties shall, as set forth in the Charter of the United Nations, settle any international disputes in which they may be involved by peaceful means in such a manner that international peace and security, and justice, are not endangered, and refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force.
