§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterThis is part of the expensive and complicated Medway towns project. There are considerable difficulties in settling the line of the road, objection having been raised on agricultural grounds to the proposed line. I may not, therefore, be able to publish a draft scheme under the Special Roads Act, 1949, for some time. I hope to include the proposal in the programme in due course.
