The following table shows, for the 1934, 1935 and 1936 (first half) age classes who registered in the years 1952, 1953 and 1954 respectively, the percentages who were in the categories named in the Question.

latest date for which statistics of unemployment are available is 10th January, when the total number registered as unemployed in Wales was 24,000, compared with 29,000 a year before and 82,000 in February, 1947.
