Mr. WardThree hundred and forty-three, made up of 231 training aircraft, 72 bomber and general reconnaissance aircraft, 18 fighter aircraft and 22 transport aircraft. It is normally a condition of the sale of combat aircraft that they should be used only for the recovery of scrap.
