Mr. Garner-Evansasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he is aware that his advice to the banks on restriction of credit facilities has resulted in an agreement by the banks not to accept a transfer of an account from one bank to another; and, since this is a restrictive practice, if he will introduce legislation to require banks to accept an account where they are satisfied with the credit of their prospective customer.
