§ Mr. TurtonOn 29th November the General Assembly of the United Nations passed by 44 votes to 0 with 11 abstentions a resolution reaffirming its intention to continue to seek an early solution of166W the Korean question in accordance with the objectives of the United Nations. The United Kingdom delegation supported this resolution. Her Majesty's Government pursue a policy aimed at the achievement by peaceful means of a unified, independent and democratic Korea.
