§ Mr. J. StuartThis area depends primarily on agriculture and the fishing industry, which is assisted by the white fish subsidy, the herring oil and meal scheme, grants and loans for the construction and engining of fishing boats and other measures. In the Buckie-Peterhead area there are in addition the special arrangements for the financing of factory building from the Development fund. One such factory has been provided, another is under construction and a third has been approved.
