§ 75. Mr. Gaitskell
asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of the impending reduction and eventual termination of the German contribution to our occupation costs, he intends to discuss with the other members 224W of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation how the additional financial burden, which may thus arise, can be most equitably met; and when such discussions are likely to take place.
§ Sir A. Eden
The defence burden of each member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation is regularly reviewed by the North Atlantic Council during each annual review, in the light of all military, economic, social and financial factors.
