76. Mr. H. Wilsonasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Works, as representing the Lord President of the Council, when he now expects the Report of the Medical Research Council into cadmium poisoning at a copper refinery in Prescot, Lancashire, to be available.
§ Mr. BevinsI understand that the Report of the Medical Research Council investigation of the incidence of chronic cadmium poisoning has just been completed and will be made available to my right hon. Friend the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance within the next week or so. It will be published as soon as possible in the medical Press.
