Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Minister of Food what representations he has received from pig producers and bacon factories in Aberdeen and the North of Scotland, protesting against his order discriminating against British pig and bacon producers in favour of foreign pig and bacon producers; if he is aware that this order is damaging the British producers and the British consumers; and what steps he is taking to protect British interests in this matter.
Dr. HillMy right hon. and gallant Friend has made no such order. British pig producers are protected by the guarantee arrangements.
