88. Mr. Parker

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he will remove the privet shrubs from Carlton House Terrace Square Gardens, lay out the area in a suitable manner, and open the gardens to the public.

The Carlton House Terrace Gardens are managed by the Crown Estate Paving Commissioners who are the statutory authority responsible for their maintenance and upkeep. By statute, the gardens are maintained for the use and enjoyment of the residents in the adjoining Crown Property.

recommendations on this matter. In the meantime, the Receiver is carrying on the business of the British Lion Film Corporation, and support for film production is continuing uninterrupted.
